Tawhid Hridoy, Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Sabbir Rahman starred with the bat as North Zone piled up runs against Central Zone in the Bangladesh Cricket League One Day 2026.
North Zone made 322 runs in 50 overs at the Rajshahi Divisional Cricket Stadium.
The innings did not start well. North Zone lost two wickets for just nine runs inside two overs. The team was under pressure.
Hridoy then joined Tanzid and changed the game. They added 135 runs for the third wicket. They batted with control and confidence.
Tanzid missed his century. He tried to hit Ripon Mondol for six but was caught by Mahfizul Islam. He scored 92 from 92 balls. He hit nine fours and four sixes.
Hridoy held the innings together after that. He played carefully at first. He needed 68 balls to reach his fifty. Then he increased the pace. He scored his next fifty in 38 balls.
Hridoy made 102 from 113 balls. He hit eight fours and no sixes. Abu Hider bowled him soon after he reached his hundred. It was his fourth List A century.
Sabbir gave strong support at the end. He scored 73 from 51 balls. His quick runs helped North Zone cross 300.
Earlier in the tournament, Akbar Ali scored the first century. Afif Hossain then made another hundred. Hridoy’s knock is the third century of this season’s BCL One Day.
