Grameen HealthTech Limited has won the Bangladesh ICT & Innovation Network (BIIN) Award 2026 in the “Inclusion & Community Services” category for its AI-enabled, patient-centric and interoperable digital healthcare application and community-care ecosystem, Shukhee.

The award recognises Shukhee’s role in delivering affordable and continuous healthcare to rural and underserved communities, reads a press release.

The award ceremony was held on  Saturday at the BRAC University Auditorium. 

The award was received on behalf of Grameen HealthTech by CEO Ahmed Arman Siddiqui; Chief Business and Technology Officer Mohammad Solaimun Russell; Strategic Advisor Mohammad Abul Hossain Bangabashi; Chief Marketing Officer Kingshuk Haque; Application Tech Lead Md Tanvir Hossain; and Chief of Research, Analytics and Customer Experience Dr Hossain Md Al-Amin.

Expressing gratitude to the BIIN organisers and jury board, partner organisations and the Grameen Group family, Grameen HealthTech CEO Dr Ahmed Armaan Siddiqui said in a statement to the media, “This recognition belongs to every Link Worker, doctor and service recipient who has made Shukhee a part of their lives. Healthcare should not depend on where a person lives. This award will inspire us to bring quality healthcare to every household in Bangladesh.”

Shukhee is designed to provide affordable, accessible and continuous healthcare, particularly to rural, underserved and digitally excluded communities.

It connects patients, doctors, pharmacies, diagnostic centres, hospitals, caregivers, Shukhee Seba Kendro and community-based Shukhee Link Workers through an integrated care pathway.

Its services include 24/7 telemedicine, specialist consultations, digital prescriptions, medicine delivery, home diagnostics, referrals, mental health support, maternal and child healthcare, and non-communicable disease (NCD) management.

Continuous follow-up is supported by integrated and interoperable Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

An AI-enabled healthcare chatbot provides 24/7 service navigation, preliminary symptom intake, health education, appointment assistance, and medication and follow-up reminders, with seamless escalation to qualified healthcare professionals.

The Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) uses structured patient histories, clinical observations and real-time vital signs to help doctors identify risks and make guideline-based, evidence-informed decisions.

Through doorstep Link Workers, Shukhee Seba Kendro and connected medical devices, including the Shukhee Sastho Bondhu 6-in-1 Device for real-time health assessment, Shukhee turns every rural household into a connected point of patient-centric care.
