The government on Sunday cancelled the contract of Bangladesh High Commission Delhi Minister (Press) Faisal Mahmud.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard, signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Mohammad Mamun Shibly, reports BSS.
The notification said the contract was terminated for the remaining period under Clause 8 of the contractual agreement between the government and Faisal Mahmud.
It said the order, issued in the public interest, takes effect immediately.
