The Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation awarded scholarships to meritorious and financially challenged students of the Faculty of Business Studies at Dhaka University on April 19, 2026, at Professor Dr Abdullah Farouk Multipurpose Hall.
Dhaka University Faculty of Business Studies Dean Professor Dr Mahmood Osman Imam and Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation President and Salma Group Managing Director Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb handed over the scholarships to the recipient students.
Dabir-Sohani-Suraiya Foundation Vice President Salma Chowdhury and Md Arfan Ali were present at the event alongside faculty members and a large number of students from the Faculty of Business Studies.
The programme brought together academic leaders and foundation representatives to recognise academic merit while supporting students facing financial constraints.
