The first official poster for this year’s most-anticipated Eid action film, ‘Rakkhosh,’ has been unveiled on Thursday.
In the poster, Siam Ahmed is seen sitting on a chair with his feet raised. A cigarette rests on his lips while he holds a blood-stained chapati in his hand. His face and clothes are smeared with blood and several bodies lie around the chair as roses fall over them. The red title logo of Rakkhosh appears above his head.
The poster was released by the production company Real Energy Production on Thursday afternoon (March 12). The film is produced by Azim Harun and Shahrin Akter Sumi and directed by Mehedi Hasan Hridoy. Actress Sushmita Chatterjee stars opposite Siam Ahmed.
Producer Shahrin Akter Sumi said it had been a long time since audiences saw a “crazy love story” on screen. “Rakkhosh is a crazy love story. At the same time, it also has strong elements of family drama. We believe the film will be among the audience’s top choices this Eid,” she said.
Real Energy Production had previously produced ‘Borbaad’. According to Sumi, Rakkhosh features even more intense action than that film. She expressed confidence that audiences will enjoy it and that viewers will want to watch the film more than once.
Bollywood actress Natalia Janoszek appears in an item song in the film. She has worked in both Bollywood and Hollywood productions and has appeared in films such as ‘Housefull 5’, ‘Masti 4’ and ‘365 Days’. She has also participated in the television show ‘Bigg Boss’, hosted by Salman Khan.
Sumi added that the film contains several other surprises and will be submitted to the censor board soon.
