Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz has threatened to occupy Lebanese territory if Hezbollah’s attacks from Lebanon do not stop.

He stated that if Hezbollah continues to launch attacks targeting Israel, the Israeli military will invade and occupy Lebanese territory, according to Al Jazeera.

The Israeli defense minister said he has delivered a final message to the Lebanese government regarding this matter – Hezbollah must stop its attacks on Israel. Otherwise, the Israeli army will invade and seize Lebanese territory.

Citing the Israeli Defense Minister, The Times of Israel reported that Hezbollah launched intense attacks targeting Israel yesterday.

Israel Katz further stated that he has warned the Lebanese President – if the Lebanese government cannot control its own territory and fails to prevent Hezbollah from attacking Israel, then Lebanon will be occupied and annexed to Israel.
