A fire broke out at a shop located beneath Nadda Bridge in Kuril area of Dhaka on Friday night.
Firefighters responded immediately, and two units are currently working to bring the blaze under control.
Rashed Bin Khalid, duty officer at the fire service control room, said, “We were informed about a fire at a pavement shop under Nadda Bridge at 9:08 pm. Two fire service units were immediately deployed, and the fire is now almost under control.”
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still under investigation. Authorities have confirmed that no casualties have been reported so far.
