A fire erupted at the office of Udichi Shilpighoshthi on Topkhana Road in the capital on Friday evening.
Local residents say that at around 7pm, a group of agitators came and vandalised the office and set it on fire.
Panic spread inside the office after the fire started.
Upon receiving the news, four units of the Fire Service reached the spot and brought the blaze under control at 8:13pm.
The matter was confirmed by Fire Service Senior Staff Officer Md Shahjahan Sikder.
