A man and his son were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a BRTC bus in Fatikchhari upazila of Chattogram on Monday morning.
Nazirhat Highway Police Station officer‑in‑charge Md Mobarak Hossain confirmed the incident.
The deceased were identified as Shahjahan and his son Arif.
Locals said the duo was riding a motorcycle along a road in Paindong union around 9:30am when a BRTC bus coming from the opposite direction hit it, leaving both dead on the spot.
OC Mobarak said preparations are underway to recover the bodies and hand them over to the family.
