Bangladeshi television channels are set to air a wide range of films as part of their special Eid-ul-Azha programming, with several popular local productions scheduled over five to seven days of festivities.
On Eid day at 10:15am, Channel i will air ‘Neelchakra,’ directed by Mithu Khan and starring Arifin Shuvoo and Mandira Chakraborty।
On the second day of Eid, Channel i will screen ‘Prince: Once Upon a Time in Dhaka,’ directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud and featuring performances by Shakib Khan, Tasnia Farin and Jyotirmoyee Kundu।
Meanwhile, NTV will broadcast ‘Sardarbarir Khela’ at 4:20pm on Eid’s second day. The film is directed by Rakhal Sobuj and stars Ziaul Roshan and Bubly।
On the third day of Eid, Channel i will air ‘Saba,’ directed by Maksud Hossain and starring Mehazabien Chowdhury, Mostafa Monwar and Rokeya Prachy।
Also on the third day, Banglavision will broadcast ‘Dagi,’ directed by Shihab Shaheen and starring Afran Nisho, Toma Mirza and Sunerah Binte Kamal।
At 2:10pm on the same day, Machranga Television will air ‘Utsab,’ directed by Tanim Noor and featuring Zahid Hasan, Jaya Ahsan and Chanchal Chowdhury।
Other films in the Eid lineup include ‘Tagor,’ ‘Joya Ar Sharmin,’ ‘Moynar Char,’ and ‘Barir Naam Shahana,’ to be aired on different channels throughout the holiday period.
