Dhaka Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Rezaul Karim Mallick, who has been promoted to the rank of additional inspector general of police (Additional IGP), was formally adorned with his new rank badges on Sunday morning.
The ceremony took place at Police Headquarters, where Inspector General of Police Md Ali Hossain Fakir and Additional Inspector General of Police (Administration) AKM Awlad Hossain pinned the rank badges on the promoted officer.
Additional IGP Mallick is scheduled to retire from service on the final day of this month.
