Tanim Noor’s Eid release ‘Bonolota Express’ has pulled ahead in this year’s festive film slate, surpassing Tk5 crore in ticket sales within just 18 days of its theatrical run, according to industry insiders.
Adapted from ‘Kichukkhan’ by celebrated writer Humayun Ahmed, the film has steadily gained momentum at cinemas, buoyed by strong audience turnout since its Eid-ul-Azha release.
Director Tanim Noor credited viewers for the film’s performance, expressing appreciation for the team and acknowledging the enduring influence of Humayun Ahmed’s work.
The cast features a line-up of well-known names, including Mosharraf Karim, Chanchal Chowdhury, Shariful Razz, Zakia Bari Mamo, Azmeri Haque Badhon and Sabila Noor, among others.
