Dhaka-14 constituency candidate of BNP, Sanjida Islam Tulee earns more than Tk 5.85 lakh a year, while her husband – listed as a dependent in her affidavit – earns over Tk 82 lakh annually from a private-sector job.
Tulee disclosed this information submitted to the Election Commission along with her nomination papers.
According to the affidavit, Tulee owns movable assets worth an estimated Tk 1.88 crore. These include Tk 83 lakh in cash and 10 bhori of gold, shown as gifts. Her husband owns movable assets valued at around Tk 3 crore.
The affidavit also shows that Tulee owns immovable assets worth approximately Tk 46 lakh, while her husband’s immovable assets are valued at about Tk 25 lakh.
It further states that Tulee and her husband together have credit card liabilities exceeding Tk 26 lakh.
