The BNP has expelled 10 more leaders from the party for their involvement in anti-organisational activities and for defying party decisions.
The decision was announced on Tuesday in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. According to the statement, the leaders have been expelled from all levels of the party, including their primary memberships.
The expelled leaders include Md Mushfiqur Rahman, a member of the Mymensingh South District BNP; Sadikur Rahman, the Assistant Organising Secretary of the central Krishak Dal; and Mofizur Rahman Khairul and Md Jalal Uddin, both Joint Convenors of Gafargaon Upazila BNP.
From Narail district, the party has expelled Md Mujahidul Islam Palash, General Secretary of Sadar Thana BNP; Md Telayet Hossain, President of Sadar Pourashava BNP; Kazi Sultanuzzaman Selim, General Secretary of Lohagara Upazila BNP; Milu Sharif, President of Lohagara Pourashava BNP; Md Moshiar Rahman Santu, General Secretary of Lohagara Pourashava BNP; and Md Ahaduzzaman Batu, President of Lohagara Upazila BNP.
It is worth noting that the party has previously expelled several leaders at various levels in multiple phases for similar reasons.
