In a statement shared on social media, Lively urged the public to look beyond online speculation and focus on the broader issues at stake.
She emphasised her commitment to challenging what she described as systems that silence or retaliate against individuals who raise concerns about workplace safety.
The development comes shortly after a court ruling removed a sexual harassment allegation from her case, reportedly on jurisdictional grounds. However, other claims, including defamation and retaliation, remain active and are expected to be central when the case goes to trial in New York later this year.
Lively has maintained that her decision to pursue legal action stems from her experience of professional and personal backlash after raising concerns during the production of ‘It Ends With Us’.
The actress further alleges that this backlash extended into a sustained online campaign that damaged her public image ahead of the film’s release.
Representatives for Baldoni have consistently denied any wrongdoing, rejecting claims that an organised effort was made to influence public perception.
While legal teams on both sides have previously explored the possibility of a settlement, those discussions did not lead to an agreement.
