The Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok has suspended all consular services on Monday and Tuesday after the Thai government declared the two days special government holidays in Bangkok and neighbouring provinces due to flooding.
The Royal Thai Government has declared September 28 and 29 as special government holidays in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan due to the prevailing flooding situation and related travel disruptions.
In a notice on Sunday, the Bangladesh Embassy said its consular services would remain suspended on those two days.
Regular consular services will resume on Wednesday (September 30), it said, expressing appreciation for the understanding and cooperation of all concerned.
