Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Aminul Islam Bulbul has apologised to journalists for the lack of hospitality during the second day of the Bangladesh Cricket Conference on 10 November. The event, organised to celebrate 25 years of Bangladesh’s journey in Test cricket, saw delays in both its start and conclusion, leading to complaints about poor treatment of the invited media representatives.

Bulbul expressed regret over the incident, acknowledging that journalists play an important part in the development of Bangladesh cricket. He said, “We will investigate the matter to determine which department was responsible and would take appropriate action. Journalists are a big stakeholders in the development of cricket in this country. We have made a mistake, we will try to not repeat these mistakes in the future.”

The BCB president assured that the board would learn from the situation and work to ensure such mistakes are not repeated in future events.
