Although Bangladesh have been eliminated from the tournament, the individual performances of several of their players have been reflected in this week’s T20I rankings, with multiple cricketers climbing the bowling and batting charts following the ICC’s weekly update on 30 June.
Ritu Moni was the biggest mover among bowlers, climbing 11 places after taking three wickets across Bangladesh’s two matches last week, a five-wicket defeat to India and a four-wicket loss to South Africa under captain Nigar Sultana. Ritu now sits at 75th in the bowling rankings.
Pacer Maruфa Akter, who took two wickets across the same two matches, rose six places to 38th. Left-arm spinner Nahida Akter, who claimed three wickets, advanced five places to 27th.
Rabeya Khan remains Bangladesh’s highest-ranked bowler. The leg-spinner climbed one place to 17th in the global standings. India’s Shree Charani retained top spot in the T20I bowling rankings, having reached the summit within a single year on the back of outstanding performances.
Among batters, Australia’s Georgia Voll remains the world number one. For Bangladesh, captain Nigar leads the way, climbing one place to share 19th position after scoring 32 in both innings against India and South Africa.
Sobhana Mostary, who scored 22 against India and 42 against South Africa, advanced four places to 40th. Sharmin Akter climbed six places and sits four positions behind her. Opener Joyrita Ferdous, who scored 33 against India, rose seven places and now sits just outside the top 100 at 96th.
In the all-rounder rankings, West Indies’ Hayley Matthews retains top spot.
