Marriage rumours involving television stars Sunerah Binte Kamal and Arosh Khan have once again sparked discussion on social media following a recent post by the actor.
Sunerah and Arosh, one of the most talked-about on-screen pairings in recent years, have worked together in numerous television dramas and more recently on OTT platforms.
Speculation about a possible off-screen relationship has followed them for some time, although both have consistently maintained that they share only a professional bond and a friendship.
The latest round of speculation began on Monday night, February 9, when Arosh Khan shared a photo on social media. The image shows him at what appears to be a barbecue ceremony, while Sunerah is dressed in bridal attire. Adding to the intrigue, Arosh captioned the post with a single word: “Alhamdulillah.”
The post immediately led to widespread speculation, with many netizens questioning whether the two stars had quietly tied the knot. However, Arosh Khan did not directly address the marriage rumours at the time, prompting further debate online. A large section of viewers suspected that the image was taken from a drama rather than a real-life event.
Clarifying the matter, Arosh Khan later confirmed that the photo was not from his personal life. He said the image was taken from scenes of a new television drama titled ‘Kopal’, in which he stars opposite Sunerah Binte Kamal. The drama, produced by Russell Azam, is set to air on a private television channel during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
Arosh also shared a second image from the same project to clear up the confusion. With more than a decade of experience in stage and television acting, he has worked with several leading actresses, but his pairing with Sunerah has drawn particular attention over the past year. The two actors have developed a close friendship through their professional collaborations.
This is not the first time the duo has made headlines over relationship rumours. In December, Sunerah posted a romantic photograph with Arosh on social media, prompting congratulatory comments from fellow actors, including Irfan Sajjad, and once again fuelling speculation among fans.
