Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas has said that having haters can be a blessing for a star because negative attention often keeps celebrities in the spotlight.

“A star having haters is somewhat of a blessing. They are one of the reasons a star remains in discussion. Audiences also tend to watch negative things more,” Apu said while appearing on choreographer Quadery Mahfuz’s podcast Coffee With Quadery.

Produced by Mazharul Islam Rajib and organised by MKM Travel and Tour, the podcast features Apu as its first guest. During the conversation, she discussed different aspects of her personal life and acting career, as well as social media, trends, public discussions, criticism and her experiences as a celebrity.
