Apex Footwear Ltd has obtained Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certification for its Unit-2 manufacturing facility, marking a further step in the company’s sustainability and responsible manufacturing initiatives.
The certification, awarded by an accredited third-party certification body under the global non-profit organisation Textile Exchange, verifies the use and traceability of recycled materials in the company’s production process and reinforces Apex Footwear’s focus on environmentally conscious manufacturing.
According to the company, the RCS is a voluntary international standard that establishes requirements for third-party certification of recycled inputs and chain-of-custody verification throughout the production process.
Apex Footwear received the certification following an audit that verified the precise percentage of recycled content used in its products. The certification provides assurance of traceability and quality control for recycled materials incorporated into manufacturing operations.
The company said in a press statement that the certification covers recycled materials used in production, including recycled EVA, rubber, PU and PVC.
The latest achievement follows Apex Footwear’s Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification, which it obtained in 2025.
According to the company, the RCS certification further strengthens its position in sustainable manufacturing and supports its efforts to expand the use of recycled materials in footwear production.
Apex Footwear said the certification reflects its ongoing commitment to responsible manufacturing practices as a footwear brand serving both domestic and international markets.
