Young television actor Partho Sheikh has returned to acting after a break of nearly seven months, with his latest drama Amar Prem receiving a strong response from viewers.
Directed by Zahidul Islam Sujan, the drama crossed 1.8 million views within its first day of release, marking a successful comeback for the actor, who had taken time away from work following his marriage in January.
The performance has also drawn praise from fellow actor Tawsif Mahbub, who shared Partho’s photo on Facebook and wrote, “The screen has found another star. Congratulations, little brother! Wishing you endless success, love and all the applause you deserve.”
Responding to the appreciation, Partho said the encouragement from senior actors means a great deal to him.
He described Tausif as a genuinely supportive colleague and thanked fellow actors and directors who welcomed his return.
Partho added that he hopes to continue working regularly after the break and revealed that discussions are already underway for several new television dramas.
He is also expected to appear in an upcoming web film directed by Shihab Shaheen.
