Taapsee Pannu has opened up about keeping her marriage to retired Danish badminton player Mathias Boe away from the public eye. The couple had a court marriage in December 2023, followed by an intimate Udaipur ceremony in March 2024.
Speaking to Nayandeep Rakshit on his YouTube channel, Taapsee said she never felt the need to make a public announcement or release official wedding photographs. She said she prefers to keep her personal and professional lives separate.
The actor also recalled a wedding video that was leaked online in April 2024, calling the breach of trust embarrassing. She said her main concern was protecting Mathias from the intense media attention that comes with being married to a film star.
Taapsee, who met Mathias in 2013, said mutual respect has been the foundation of their relationship and called choosing him the best decision of her life.
