Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi on Tuesday paid a courtesy call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations, as well as regional and international issues, including the recently concluded 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Humaiun reaffirmed Bangladesh’s commitment to working with India in a forward-looking and mutually respectful manner on issues of mutual interest for the benefit of the people of both countries, according to a press release.
Trivedi also congratulated the state minister on his appointment, the release said.
