American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) signed an agreement with Protective Islami Life Insurance Limited on Sunday at its campus to provide group insurance coverage for its employees, strengthening financial security and welfare benefits.
The agreement was signed by AIUB Dean and Acting Treasurer Professor Tazul Islam and Protective Islami Life Insurance Chief Executive Officer Kishore Biswas on behalf of their respective organisations, the university said in a press release.
Under the arrangement, group insurance benefits will be extended to all management, faculty members, officials and staff of AIUB.
AIUB Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Md Abdur Rahman attended the ceremony, alongside Protective Islami Life Insurance Chief Financial Officer Md Sohidul Islam and Deputy Manager Md Alamgir Sikder, as well as senior university officials.
The initiative aims to enhance employee welfare by ensuring financial protection through structured insurance coverage.
