Skitto, Grameenphone’s digital-first youth brand, has partnered with IDP Education Bangladesh Private Limited to make overseas education opportunities more accessible and affordable for Bangladeshi students.
Under the partnership, signed at GPHouse in Dhaka, Skitto users will receive benefits including free IELTS Masterclass sessions, access to IDP’s Study Abroad Privilege Card and a Tk1,000 discount on IELTS registration at any IDP office across the country.
The agreement was signed by Mohammad Salahuddin Kabir, Head of Skitto, Grameenphone, and B M Mahbubul Alam Razib, Country Director of IDP Education Bangladesh Private Limited.
Grameenphone representatives present at the signing included Shamanta Akter, Partnership & Innovation Lead, Skitto; Nujhat Jannatun Naeem, Head of Brand and Engagement, Skitto; Md Rezaul Karim, Head of Product and Analytics, Skitto; and Mohammed Soaib Ansar, Head of Sales and Customer Service, Skitto. Momenur Rahman Moyen, Strategic Alliance Manager of IDP Education Bangladesh Private Limited, also attended.
Salahuddin Kabir said in a press release that Skitto aimed to use its platforms and partnerships to help young Bangladeshis pursue their education and career aspirations abroad.
“Through Skitto’s partnership with IDP Education Bangladesh, we are bringing relevant benefits directly to our Skitto customers, helping make important steps in their study abroad journey more accessible and affordable,” he said.
B M Mahbubul Alam Razib said the partnership would help IDP reach more young people with IELTS preparation resources and support for their international education plans.
Skitto said the initiative reflected its efforts to expand beyond connectivity services by offering opportunities and benefits aligned with the changing needs and aspirations of Bangladesh’s youth.
