The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has approved a case over the embezzlement of Tk903 crore against Bloom Success International Limited’s managing director Ahmed Jalal Khan Mojlish and 25 others, including members of the Sikder family. According to the ACC, the accused had taken a loan worth Tk600 core using a fake public works contract agreement.
ACC Director General Akhtar Hossain disclosed the information at a press conference at their headquarters in Dhaka on Sunday.
ACC officials said that the alleged in collusion with bank officials abused power and withdrew Tk600 crore which now stands at Tk903 crore with interest.
Among the accused are former directors of National Bank and members of the Sikder family Monowara Sikder, Parvin Haque Sikder, and Ron Haque Sikder, among other senior bank officials.
