Former government secretary ABM Abdus Sattar has been appointed personal secretary (PS) to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, while former Dhaka Reporters Unity general secretary AAM Saleh, popularly known as Saleh Shibli, has been named his press secretary.
The appointments were announced on Saturday in a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
According to the statement, ABM Abdus Sattar, a former secretary to the Bangladesh government, will serve as Tarique Rahman’s personal secretary, while Saleh Shibli will oversee press and media affairs in his new role as press secretary.
