Premier Bank PLC has recently received ISO 27001:2022 certification for its Information Security Management System. The certification covers the Information Technology Division, IT Security and Governance Division, Human Resources Division, and the Data Centre and Disaster Recovery Site.
The certification was formally handed over to Premier Bank MD Md Monzur Mofiz at the bank’s head office, Shanta Pinnacle, said a press release on Thursday.
Premier Bank Deputy MD and Chief Operating Officer Mirza Azhar Ahmad, SEVP and Chief Risk Officer (Acting) Anirban Haq, SEVP and Head of Consumer Banking Division Md Kamruzzaman, EVP and CITO Abu Md Sabbir Hassan Chowdhury, EVP and Head of ADC Division Sheikh Mohammad Fuad, VP and Head of HR (In-Charge) Md Moinul Huq Shiraze, FVP and Head of GSD (CC) Md Fazlur Rahman and SAVP and CISO K H Golam Sarwar attended, along with other senior officials.
Bureau Veritas Regional Manager (Marketing and Sales) Tarek Ahmed attended on behalf of the certification body. EIC Limited Chief Executive Officer Moshiul Islam attended on behalf of the consulting firm that supported the certification process.
