Meghna Bank PLC has launched its Bangla QR payment service through MeghnaPay, marking another step towards expanding integrated digital payment facilities and contributing to the vision of a Cashless Bangladesh.
Syed Mizanur Rahman, managing director of Meghna Bank PLC, inaugurated the service at the bank’s head office, reads a press release.
Md Sadiqur Rahman, additional managing director; Momtazul Karim N Ahmed, deputy managing director; and other senior officials of the bank were present at the launching event.
Under the service, Meghna Bank customers can make seamless payments through the MeghnaPay app by scanning any merchant’s Bangla QR code. This allows them to conveniently pay for goods and services directly from their smartphones.
