Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmad is scheduled to join the state funeral of the late Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran.
The speaker is likely to be in Iranian capital on 3 July at the invitation of the Iranian Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, a diplomatic source told UNB.
According to Iranian state media, the funeral for the late supreme leader will begin in Tehran on 4 July.
He will be buried in his home town of Mashhad on 9 July.
