One of Bangladesh’s most respected and enduring figures in acting, Tariq Anam Khan is set to offer a rare opportunity for aspiring performers to learn directly from him at an upcoming masterclass organised by the OTT platform Chorki.
With a career spanning over four decades across theatre, television drama and film, Tariq Anam Khan remains a defining presence in the country’s performing arts landscape. His work continues to inspire multiple generations of audiences as well as emerging actors seeking to refine their craft.
The masterclass will take place at the Intercontinental Dhaka as part of the ‘Chorki Carnival’ scheduled for July 3. According to a statement issued by Chorki on Thursday, interested participants must complete registration by June 22. The session will be highly exclusive, with only 25 to 30 participants being selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
The special session will run from 10:30 am to 1 pm on July 3. During the masterclass, Tariq Anam Khan will conduct training on key aspects of acting, including on-camera performance, character development and dialogue delivery, offering practical insights drawn from his extensive professional experience.
Organisers have also confirmed that the Chorki Carnival will feature recognition and awards for various content released on the platform in 2023 and 2024. In addition, a special tribute will be paid to late content creator and actress Kaarina Kaiser for her contribution to the industry.
