As FIFA World Cup 2026 fever grips Bangladesh, foodpanda has launched a service allowing fans to have their favourite team’s jersey delivered in less than an hour, the company said in a press release. Nearly 20 vendors, including Jersey Freak BD, Bazaar Lagbe, Jersey Champs BD, and Tesco Supermarket, are participating on the platform, offering jerseys for popular teams such as Argentina, Brazil, England, Germany, Spain, and Portugal.
The service is available for residents in Gulshan, Uttara, Mirpur, Khilgaon, Dhanmondi, and Bashundhara R/A. Jerseys come in standard sizes S, M, L, and XL, priced between Tk500 and Tk1,500, with select shops offering discounts. Customers can order by opening the foodpanda app, typing “jersey” into the search bar, tapping the “Shops” button, and completing the checkout process.
Mohammad Tabrej Khan, Director of Q-Commerce at foodpanda Bangladesh, said, “Convenience today is not just about food delivery, it’s about being able to access what you want, when you want it.” He added, “Whether it’s groceries, essentials, or now jerseys, the expectation is the samefast, reliable, and seamless delivery. We are building an ecosystem that brings everyday shopping into a single app experience.”
