Modhumoti Bank PLC has reached Tk12,000 crore in deposits, marking a milestone in its deposit mobilisation growth and reflecting continued customer confidence in the bank, it said.
The achievement was celebrated through an informal ceremony held at the bank’s head office on Sunday, 27 September 2026, attended by members of the board of directors and senior officials, the bank said in a press release.
The event was attended by Chairman of the Board of Directors Salahuddin Alamgir, Vice-Chairman Mohammad Ismail Hossain, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee A Mannan Khan and board members Sultana Jahan, Tanjima Binthe Mostafa, Md Mahbubur Rahman, Tanveer Ahmed Mostafa, Syeda Sharmin Hossain, Independent Directors Md Shafiqul Alam and Monjurul Ahsan Bulbul.
Managing Director of the bank Md Shafiul Azam, Additional Managing Director Shahnawaj Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Business Officer Arab Fazlur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer Arif Hasan Khan, SEVP and Head of Human Resources Division Md Shafiqur Rahman, Vice-President and Company Secretary Md Rezaul Karim, along with other senior officials, also attended the programme.
During the event, the bank highlighted its consistent growth in deposit mobilisation, customer trust and commitment to governance-based banking operations.
