Titas Gas authorities have suspended gas supply in Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and adjoining areas after a pipeline was damaged during works carried out by Dhaka Wasa on the Gulshan–Badda Link Road.
In a press release, Titas Gas said the pipeline was damaged on the Gulshan–Badda Link Road, prompting the shutdown of a valve and repair of the leakage to avoid possible loss of life and property.
The authority said gas supply has been stopped in the affected areas to prevent further risk.
The areas under suspension include Gulshan, Banani, Baridhara and nearby localities.
Titas Gas authorities expressed regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to residents.
