Actress Nazia Haque Orsha was recently selected for the National Film Award 2023 as Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film ‘Ora 7 Jon’. However, the talented performer is not limited to acting alone. She is also passionate about photography, painting and sewing, skills that deeply impress her husband, actor Mostafizur Noor Imran.
Imran hopes that one day Orsha will organise an exhibition showcasing her photography. While Orsha has just received the National Film Award, she believes that Imran will soon earn many national and international accolades as well, as he is expected to appear in several promising projects in the near future.
Among Orsha’s upcoming films are Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s ‘Roid’ and N. Rashed Chowdhury’s ‘Sokhi Rongomala’, where she will be seen in significant roles. Meanwhile, although many producers see Mostafizur Noor Imran as an unconventional actor, he has expressed a desire to work in films that feature strong elements of dance and music.
Interestingly, both actors share a similar beginning in the entertainment industry. Imran finished fourth in the 2009 reality show Super Hero Super Heroine. In the same year, Orsha also secured fourth place in the Lux Channel I Superstar competition.
The couple recently shared the story of their first meeting, their relationship and their marriage for the first time on Maasranga Television’s special Eid programme ‘Ranga Shokal’.
The special episode will be broadcast on the third day of Eid from 7:00 am to 9:00 am, hosted by Rumman Rashid Khan and Yasmin Labonno. The programme is produced by Jobayer Iqbal.
