Mou explained that after the birth of her child, she gained significant weight. To address this, she consulted a nutritionist, Dr Shampa at Samarita Hospital, and followed a structured diet plan for nine months. She emphasised that many people assume she resorted to medication or surgery, but her transformation came solely through disciplined eating and lifestyle changes.

Daily walking, lasting between 40 minutes to an hour, was another crucial part of her routine. “There is very little exercise as beneficial as walking,” she said. “Taking regular walks keeps both the body and mind healthy.”

Although Mou no longer models as frequently, she remains active in dance, performing at various events and continues to act in theatre. Some of her notable stage performances include ‘Chitrangada’, ‘Shyama’, ‘Mayar Khela’, ‘Chandalika’ and ‘Nakshi Kanthar Math’.
The fan-favourite artist has also appeared in several television dramas, including ‘All the Best’, ‘Badnam’, ‘Mone Pore Rubi Roy’, among others.

Professionally, Mou currently serves as the Managing Director of the Bangladesh Academy of Fine Arts (BAFA). She is married to popular actor Zahid Hasan and together they have two children: Pushpita and Purna.
