Emma Watson has sparked romance speculation after being spotted sharing a kiss with billionaire businessman Gonzalo Hevia Baillères at an airport in Mexico on March 4.
The ‘Harry Potter’ alum, 35, was seen wearing a red baseball cap, floral skirt, grey top and a backpack while placing her hands on Gonzalo’s neck as they kissed. The 28-year-old entrepreneur, dressed in a blue jacket, black trousers and grey sneakers, cupped the actress’s cheek with one hand while holding a duffel bag in the other. The pair were also photographed enjoying coffee together while waiting for their flight.
Sources report that the couple’s outing continued with dinner in Mexico City and a short getaway to the picturesque peninsula of Punta Mita.
Gonzalo comes from one of Latin America’s wealthiest families. His relatives founded the conglomerate Grupo BAL, which operates in sectors including trade, insurance, agriculture, retail and healthcare. Gonzalo himself is the founder and CEO of Los, a tech company specialising in artificial intelligence.
This is not the first time the pair have been seen together. They were first photographed in the French Alps in December 2025. Emma was most recently linked to her Oxford classmate Kieran Brown in July 2024.
Speaking in 2022 to British Vogue about her approach to dating, the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ star explained that dating apps were not part of her plans. She said that university and her professional network had helped friends set her up on dates.
Emma added that even when dates did not work out, she was grateful to have formed friendships with past romantic interests.
Gonzalo graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México with a degree in economics. He founded the smart locker company Lok in 2021, which uses artificial intelligence, and later merged it with Chazki, a delivery and logistics company for e-commerce and retail.
His family’s wealth stems from his grandparents Teresa Gual and Alberto Baillères, who founded Industrias Peñoles and Grupo BAL, which is now chaired by Gonzalo’s uncle Alejandro Baillères.
