Independent candidate for Dhaka-9 Tasnim Jara has alleged that many of her polling agents were denied entry to several voting centres in the constituency.
She said officials prevented the agents from entering on the grounds that they were not registered voters of the respective areas.
Zara claimed that election rules do not require polling agents to be voters of the same area.
She expressed concern that the incidents could affect transparency and the proper conduct of the voting process.
