After making her mark on television and OTT platforms and later crossing over to the big screen, Tasnia Farin has become one of the most recognisable faces in contemporary Bangladeshi entertainment.

Known for her standout performances in ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’ and ‘Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya’, Farin made her Tollywood debut last year with the Indian film ‘Aaro Ek Prithibi’ (Another World). Now, she is ready to step into a new role as a producer.

On Saturday, October 11, Farin announced via her official Facebook page that she plans to launch her own production company soon. Inviting suggestions from her followers, she asked them to share name ideas for her new venture, prompting a flood of responses from excited fans.

“I want to create work that reflects my own vision,” Farin said. “That’s why I’ve decided to start a production company; a space where I can bring my ideas to life on screen.”

An official announcement about the company will be made shortly. Farin revealed that its first project will be a music video, set to release later this year featuring a song she has sung herself.

This will mark her second venture as a singer, following the popular track ‘Ronge Ronge Rongin Hobo’, which aired on Ityadi.

Written by Kabir Bakul and composed by Imran Mahmudul, the song earned her wide acclaim.

The new song has also been composed and arranged by Imran Mahmudul, who performs alongside Farin. The music video has already been filmed, though the actor-producer has chosen to keep its title and director’s name under wraps for now. “I’m very hopeful about this song,” she shared. “Just like the first one, I believe listeners and viewers will love it.”

When asked whether her production house would branch out into dramas or films, Farin replied, “Nothing is final yet. I’m starting with a music video and will gradually move into other projects. I do intend to work regularly, but I want to take things one step at a time.”

Currently, Farin is on a brief break from acting. Following the release of her last film ‘Insaaf‘, she has not announced any new projects. “I always want to work on meaningful, quality productions,” she said.

Adding, she said, “I may be appearing less frequently now, but I hope to share some exciting news with my audience very soon.”
