Actress Tania Brishty has returned home after undergoing successful brain tumour surgery earlier this week. The operation took place on Sunday, February 15, at a hospital in Dhaka.
After being closely monitored for 72 hours, doctors discharged her on Thursday. The news was confirmed by director Shakal Ahmed, who told the media that Brishty is now resting at home and recovering well.
Earlier, on February 14, the actress shared an update about her health on social media. Posting a photo from her hospital bed, she revealed that she was scheduled for head surgery the following day and asked fans for their prayers.
In view of her condition, Brishty’s family has requested that she not be contacted regarding work or filming commitments while she focuses on her recovery. They added that she will reach out personally once she is fully fit to resume professional activities.
