Although a final announcement has yet to be made regarding the publication date of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examination results, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board has indicated that preparations are underway with a target of 20 July.
Professor Syed Akteruzzaman, chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and the Dhaka Education Board, said the work to prepare the results is currently in progress.
He noted that the boards are working to publish the results within the timeframe stipulated by government instructions.
Officials from the coordination committee added that the preparation process is in its final stages.
All activities are being advanced to meet the 20 July target, following directives from the Ministry of Education.
Typically, SSC and equivalent exam results are released within 60 days of the conclusion of the written examinations. This year, the SSC examinations commenced on 21 April.
The written tests for the general education boards concluded on 20 May, while the written components for the Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations ended on 24 May.
A total of 1,857,344 students filled out forms to sit for the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of the total candidates, 1,418,398 are under the nine general education boards, 304,286 are under the Madrasah Education Board for the Dakhil exams, and 1,34,660 students are appearing under the Technical Education Board.
