Shah Rukh Khan has bought the Delhi home where he and his wife Gauri Khan started their married life, adding another emotional connection to his impressive property portfolio.
The Bollywood superstar has reportedly purchased the second and third floors of a residential building in Delhi’s upscale Panchsheel Park area for Rs 37 crore. Shah Rukh and Gauri lived in the house after their wedding before he moved to Mumbai to pursue his film career.
According to NDTV, the family already owned the ground floor and basement of the building. With the latest purchase, the entire property now belongs to the Khan family.
The acquisition adds to Shah Rukh Khan’s luxury real estate collection, which includes properties in different Indian cities and abroad.
The newly purchased Delhi property stands on a 1,200-square-yard plot, covering around 10,800 square feet. The deal is valued at Rs 37 crore, while the land price is estimated at around Rs 34,260 per square foot.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan married in 1991. The couple welcomed their first child, Aryan Khan, in 1997, followed by Suhana Khan in 2000 and AbRam Khan in 2013.
Suhana made her acting debut with The Archies. Aryan, meanwhile, owns luxury streetwear brand Dyavol’X and made his directorial debut with Netflix’s The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s King. The actor announced the film’s release date in January, confirming that it will arrive in cinemas on 24 December 2026.
Sharing the announcement video on Instagram, Shah Rukh wrote, “#KING is Ready to ROAR on 24.12.2026 in Cinemas, #ItsKingTime #KingDateAnnouncement.”
The film promises to present Shah Rukh in a new avatar. The high-octane action entertainer aims to bring a fresh experience for audiences with style, charisma and adrenaline-filled storytelling.
The project is expected to be Siddharth Anand’s most mass-oriented film yet, taking his signature action style to a bigger scale.
The title reveal video introduced Shah Rukh’s character with the line, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam” — KING.
Fans also spotted an Easter egg in the teaser, where Shah Rukh’s character uses a King of Hearts card as a weapon. His silver-haired appearance, signature ear accessories and striking style have increased curiosity around the film.
Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment along with Marflix Pictures, King marks the first on-screen collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Rani Mukerji and Raghav Juyal in key roles.
