Youth and Sports Ministry has opened online applications in Dhaka on Monday for sports education scholarships and the National Sports Allowance, targeting the 2025–26 financial year and aiming to support athletes and their families across the country.
The decision runs through the National Sports Council Welfare Foundation, which will distribute sports education scholarships to meritorious student-athletes. The same scheme will also provide financial support to distressed, injured, ill or incapacitated athletes and their family members.
The ministry has chosen a fully digital route to speed up the process and widen access. Applicants must submit their forms online by 11:59pm on 7 March 2026.
For sports education scholarships, applicants need to visit sports-edu.online.info.bd. Those seeking the National Sports Allowance must apply through sports-allowance.online.info.bd.
The process starts with registration using a personal mobile number. Once registered, applicants can complete and submit the required information through the portal.
