Southeast Bank PLC has signed an agreement with North Bengal International University, Rajshahi, to implement its advanced Education Management System, “SoutheastEduFin,” aimed at streamlining tuition fee collection and enhancing school banking services.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was exchanged by Southeast Bank PLC Managing Director Md Khalid Mahmood Khan and North Bengal International University Vice Chancellor Dr M Sayedur Rahman. Also present at the ceremony were Southeast Bank’s Additional Managing Directors Abidur Rahman Chowdhury and Md Mahbub Alam, along with Deputy Managing Directors Mohammed Rashedul Amin, Md Masum Uddin Khan, and Md Sekander-E-Azam.
Under the partnership, the bank will offer a wide range of services, including SoutheastEduFin, which facilitates tuition fee processing, attendance monitoring, academic grading, payroll management, and communication channels among teachers, students, and parents. Students will benefit from multiple payment options such as bank branches, internet banking, mobile apps, and mobile financial services (MFS).
Southeast Bank will also extend its “TAROKA” school banking initiative, which provides students with savings accounts featuring low opening deposits, zero maintenance charges, and competitive interest rates, fostering financial literacy and good saving practices.
This collaboration underscores Southeast Bank’s commitment to promoting financial education and broadening access to banking services for future generations.
