Singer Sonu Thukral has filed a police complaint after an allegedly AI-edited clip from his recently released song Jugni, featuring actor Jacqueline Fernandez, went viral on social media, writes Hindustan Times.
The clip claims to show Fernandez experiencing a wardrobe malfunction.
Thukral, who performed the song with B Praak, alleged that someone manipulated the footage using artificial intelligence.
On Friday, the singer shared a photograph on Instagram showing himself with a police officer while holding a copy of the complaint.
“I have filed a police complaint regarding my song Jugni. The clip has also been edited using AI, and the AI-generated version of the clip is being circulated further. I will talk about it publicly soon,” Thukral wrote.
Neither Jacqueline Fernandez nor other members associated with the song have publicly responded to the controversy.
The allegation sparked widespread discussion online. Many social media users urged authorities to investigate the matter and take action if the claims prove true.
Others said the complaint clarified that the controversial visuals circulating online were allegedly created using artificial intelligence rather than appearing in the original music video.
On the professional front, Jacqueline was last seen in Welcome To The Jungle, led by Akshay Kumar and featuring an ensemble cast including Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi and Aftab Shivdasani.
She is also reportedly attached to a supernatural thriller backed by Khyati Madaan’s Not Out Entertainment.
Reports suggest filming began earlier this year, although the project has not yet received an official announcement.
