Pakistani actor Wahaj Ali, widely known for playing Murtasim in ‘Tere Bin’, is set to visit Dhaka to meet fans and attend the closing event of ‘Imira: The Wedding Chapter’.
Wahaj announced his Bangladesh visit in a video message on social media, saying he was excited about the event and looked forward to meeting his Bangladeshi fans.
The exhibition will take place at the United Convention Centre in Dhaka on 2 and 3 October, with Wahaj attending the closing programme. Organisers said he is coming as a personal guest, while selected visitors who win a lucky draw will get an opportunity to meet him.
They also said they were unaware of social media claims that 100 people would pay Tk15,000 each to meet the actor.
Wahaj made his lead acting debut with ‘Ishq Ibadat’ in 2015. He gained wider recognition through ‘Tere Bin’, which premiered in 2022 and became popular across Pakistan, Bangladesh and India.
