Simu Liu has taken the next step in his relationship with Allison Hsu, with the ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ star marrying the Interscope Records executive in France, writes People.
Liu, 37, and Hsu, 30, tied the knot over the weekend of 3 October, according to a source cited by PEOPLE. TMZ was first to report the wedding.
The couple began dating in late 2022 and made their relationship public that November. They announced their engagement in May 2025 after Liu proposed in Paris against a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower and a candlelit floral display.
Liu had previously described Hsu as someone who had transformed his life, saying their relationship made him feel loved, supported and challenged.
The actor also revealed that Taylor Swift sent Hsu a surprise congratulatory video after their engagement, knowing she was a longtime Swiftie.
Before the wedding, Liu joked that planning had become less enjoyable once he saw the costs. Still, he said both he and Hsu agreed on one essential element for their celebration: good music.
