Eid-ul-Azha still brings back cherished childhood memories for actor Siam Ahmed, who recently reflected on his early experiences of visiting cattle markets with his father.

In a recent interview, Siam recalled how going to the cattle market during childhood was one of the most exciting parts of Eid. From walking around the market and choosing cows to bargaining over prices, every moment carried a unique thrill for him.

However, the actor said the most joyful part was returning home while holding the rope of the newly purchased cow.

Siam shared that, as a child, he often wished he could personally hand over the money to his father for buying the sacrificial animal, believing it would make the experience even more meaningful.

That wish was eventually fulfilled with time. Now an established figure in the entertainment industry, Siam said he has been contributing money to his father for purchasing sacrificial animals every Eid-ul-Azha since he began earning.

He described being able to support his family with his own income as one of the greatest achievements of his life.
Despite that fulfillment, the actor admitted that adulthood and responsibilities have taken away some of the pure joy he once felt. According to Siam, he no longer experiences the same excitement of walking home holding the cow’s rope as he did during childhood.

Even so, those simple memories continue to make Eid deeply special for him.
