Actor Omar Malik was injured while shooting an action sequence for Tanvir Hasan’s upcoming film ‘Jajabor’ in a remote forest area of Gazipur.
The actor had been shooting continuously for around 36 hours before taking part in the action sequence. During the shoot, an accident occurred and Malik sustained injuries. The crew immediately took him to Gazipur Sadar Hospital, where he received treatment.
Malik is now doing well and has recovered after receiving medical care, according to the actor and the film’s director.
Tanvir Hasan said risky action sequences are generally filmed with stunt doubles, but Malik decided to perform the particular scene himself. The accident occurred while he was giving the shot.
The director said Malik’s current physical condition is good and that the actor will continue his work after recovering.
Shooting for ‘Jajabor’ has been underway in a remote part of Gazipur for the past week. The production team is working on several action sequences alongside the film’s other scenes and plans to complete the remaining shooting according to schedule.
